Observe the Signals that Get You to Eat
It's time to stand up and take a look around your home.
Walk from room to room and try to find signals that make you eat. Then tick the signals in the list that are relevant to you or write your own suggestions based on what you find.

Make it a rule never to eat in front of the TV
Candy dish
Never set candy dishes out
Don’t have candy at home other than on special occasions
Kitchen
Fast food in the fridge
Don’t bring home fast food
Keep fast food out of sight
Place nutritious food, e.g. vegetables, in your field of vision
Food on the stove
Don’t eat while you’re cooking
Put leftover food in containers immediately
Serving dishes on the table
Take limited portions right from the kitchen counter
Large plates
Use small plates, small spoons, etc.
Leftover food
Remove your plate from the table as soon as you start feeling full
Don’t eat up leftover food, e.g. from a child’s plate
Own suggestions
